Writing goals for the rest of 2023

As we are in the middle of June at the moment and we're half way until 2024, there is so much I want to do with this year! I want to tell you some of the things I want to do, both to hold myself accountable, keep myself consistent, and also give me an outlet to share these. A goal shared is one you can hold me accountable to, after all.

Finish the Burning Throne

Before I can do anything, this bloody novel (both literally and figuratively) needs to be finished. I'm at the home stretch now and need to get onto the marketing plan for the work, which is my next port of call. I've got quite a few planned things for it and I hope I can execute them to how I've got them planned in my head! If you want to read about those, then I can very happily write a report on how it went.

Finish the side projects

I've got a few side projects which aren't novels that I'm working on and hopefully going to drip-feed you guys over the next few months! There is a hope that you're going to see the first of these projects within the first few months of the year, but definitely keep your eyes peeled for it!

Continue blogging

I've found that sitting down every week (or rather batch writing) these posts when I have the motivation really allowed me to write these, make sure they're amazing and then go on with my day. I'm definitely going to start that, especially as my dissertation (I'll write a blog about it) is coming up and I'm going to need to put a lot more effort into that and my future for the next year, both in terms of personal and writing related stuff!

reading, amounst many things, is something that fuels my soul and also betters my writing. I don't feel like I've read enough non-fiction books this year and I want to rememdy that as soon as I can! I might even review them! I want to keep going into adventures and keep them going and I want to make sure that I can keep experienceing these worlds and these places through books. I've bene reallyi nterested in reading books about places I want to travel to and woud love to do a blog post on my experiences in these places if that is something you would all like to see!
